We would like to congratulate our M.Sc. student, Muratcan Ös, on his contribution to the 18th National Spectroscopy Congress at Hacettepe University, Türkiye, held May 7–9, 2026.
Muratcan presented his thesis work, titled “Two Salt-Surfactant Mesophases: Synthesis of Mesoporous MgM2O4 (M = Mn, Fe, and Co) Electrodes and Their Electrochemical Properties.” He discussed the synthesis and characterization of mesoporous MgM2O4 materials, including thin films coated on FTO and graphite. During his presentation, he highlighted findings from spectroscopic characterization techniques such as ATR-FTIR and XPS, alongside XRD and SEM analyses, as well as electrochemical measurements including CV, MCA, and MCP.
